Aim for at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit a vegetables every day.

Remember, all these count towards your 5 A Day

  • Fresh 
  • Frozen
  • Canned
  • Chilled
  • Dried

Easy Ways to 5 a Day

Think about the fruit and vegetables you or your family enjoy eating and perhaps make a list of them. Decide how you can add these into your meals.

  • Breakfast – Have 100% unsweetened fruit juice
  • Mid-Morning – Keep a well stocked fruit bowl at home and work to snack on.
  • Lunch – Try an extra serving of vegetables or side salad.
  • Mid-afternoon    – Snack on some fruit or sticks of raw vegetables like celery, carrots or peppers.
  • Evening Meal – Serve 2 tyoes of vegetables (this does not include potatoes).
