Easy Ways to 5 a Day
Think about the fruit and vegetables you or your family enjoy eating and perhaps make a list of them. Decide how you can add these into your meals.
- Breakfast – Have 100% unsweetened fruit juice
- Mid-Morning – Keep a well stocked fruit bowl at home and work to snack on.
- Lunch – Try an extra serving of vegetables or side salad.
- Mid-afternoon – Snack on some fruit or sticks of raw vegetables like celery, carrots or peppers.
- Evening Meal – Serve 2 tyoes of vegetables (this does not include potatoes).
