Easy Ways to 5 a Day


Think about the fruit and vegetables you or your family enjoy eating and perhaps make a list of them.  Decide how you can add these into your meals.


 Just one of the following 5 ideas will get you started.

 

  • Breakfast - Have 100% unsweetened fruit juice
  • Mid-Morning - Keep a well stocked fruit bowl at home and work to snack on.
  • Lunch - Try an extra serving of vegetables or side salad.
  • Mid-afternoon    - Snack on some fruit or sticks of raw vegetables like celery, carrots or peppers.
  • Evening Meal - Serve 2 tyoes of vegetables (this does not include potatoes).
